Strey here with some news. It's that time of the year again when a certain feature of our dearest mascot Maya _{(see avatar and past contest entries)}will be having a redesign. This year however, is a bit different from the past contests. So here we go...

Maya has been keeping a smile on her face for quite some time now. For the members and patrons, she's been doing her best to serve all of you out there. But recently, she's getting a bit quite lonely, with no one to talk to or share some of her lovin'.

Now it's up to you folks to give her what she's always wanted, a PET. Yes! a PET!

Welcome to the "Create a pet for Maya Contest!"

Maya isn't really picky. As long as it's something based from MEAT.... YES MEAT!
That's why we're daMEAT. Keep in mind to make it as cute and adorable as it can be!

You can go with our theme and use this as a reference:


CONTEST RULES

1) An entry must accompany a brief description about the pet.
_{Maya needs to know more about him/her before she can adopt it!}

2) Entries should be uploaded in your deviantART account. Then note us with the thumbnail of your artworks. Format should be like:

3) No explicit/Obscene/Subliminal Entries (violation of this rule will lead to automatic disqualification)

5) All members and officers are eligible to participate in this contest. Judges will be disqualified to join!

6) Please stay on the theme and treat the pet with utmost respect.

This 100% Will make up 80% of the grand total with the remaining 20% will come from Audience Impact based on the poll that will be posted.

a. Is it a "he" or a "she"?
It's up to you to decide. ;-P

b. Who are allowed to Join? (members)
A: All daMEAT Members ONLY, so if you're interested, join now and be active

c. How many entries are allowed per member?
A: You can submit as many entries as you want.
However, in case both your entries win, you will only
acquire the highest prize.

d. Can I include Maya _{(w/ matching theme)} in
my entry?
A: YES You May, but we will only be focusing on the design of the PET. Not Maya

e. should my artwork fit in the given illustration?
A: No. You may design as you please but it'd be great if you can.

f. What medium can we use?
A: Your entry can be traditional or Digital. Photo Manipulation is also allowed
Incase the photomanipulated entry wins, we'll make an illustrated version of the pet.

g. What are the limitations of this contest?
We won't be allowing obscene pieces even if it's just subliminal. Keep in mind that the Pet should reflect what the group is. Fun, Friendly, Artistic, Energetic

h. Is collaboration allowed?
Yup! The collaborating group will also split the prize in case they won
