Toycon Contest - Toys Are Alive Art Competition

In celebration of the 7th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention this June 2008 and *daMEAT partnership with the event. we are having a contest for all DA pinoys.




Draw a deviation with the theme of "Toys are alive!"

Imagine toys living the way humans do. What would it be like if humans and toys live together?



To Enter the competition

1. This contest is open to ALL Deviant Artist residing in the Philippines

2. Send *daMEAT a NOTE, titled: <theme title> Entry, containing the thumbnail/s of the deviation/s you are entering.
(To include the thumb in the note, just copy the : thumbXXXXXX : code which is located at the right side of every deviation description)

3. A maximum of TWO deviations only per deviant is allowed. We will update the entry list on this journal on a weekly basis to avoid spamming everyone with our journal.

4. Artworks can be Traditional and Digitally created - this includes 2D illustration, a comic strip/page, or 3D render. (Photography and Photomanipulation is not allowed - Toycon will be holding a different contest for this)

Add a description on your artwork, tell us a short backside story of your art and how will you connect it to the 7th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention.

5. Nudity is highly discouraged. Artworks with explicit nudity will be disqualitfied.

6. DO NOT Trace existing artworks, in the event of discovering traced artwork, the entry is automatically disqualified.

7. Entry must be specifically made for THIS contest, entries should be submitted on or before the end of May 2008.

8. If you need help, do feel free to collaborate with friends too, given the prize should be divided among your collaborators

9. The contest will close on the 30th May at 12th midnight.

There will be a booth at this year's Toycon.. but we can't assure anyone yet if we'll be allowing any squeezing in.. Based on the last event, there were complaints from the organizers and our neighboring booths that our booth was overcrowding.. we'll keep you updated if we're going to allow membaz squeezing in :)
